Remembering Mouse

A memorial donation to WAG was made by Sanford and Cheryl McAllister honor Mouse, the much loved kitty of Anita and Paul Dunio. Mouse was a great companion and made an impression on everyone who met him.

In memory of Dixie Ward

A memorial remembrance has been made to WAG on behalf of Dixie, beloved pet of Andy and Lucy Ward, from Brenda at Sirius Mobile Pet Grooming. Here's what Brenda had to say about one of her favorite clients:

"Dixie was an awesome Aussie and made me laugh at every visit with her. She had great facial expressions and a super sense of humor. I know Andy and Lucy will miss her gentle presence in their home. I know I will miss her!"

Honoring Lassie

A memorial donation has been made to WAG to remember Lassie, a sweet dog owned by the neighbors of Michael and Linda Head. Much loved by the neighborhood, Lassie will be missed by her family.

In memory of Gus Wheelin

A memorial donation has been made to WAG remembering Gus Wheelin, beloved pet of Maureen Wheeling, by Brenda at Sirius Mobile Grooming. Here's what Brenda had to say about this memorable boy.

"Gus was a wonderful schnauzer who I saw only 15 days ago. He had lost weight since our last visit and Ms. Maureen told me he was in liver failure. I didn't realize that visit would be our last. :-( Mr. Gus was apparently in greater distress than he let on. Ms. Maureen had to make the decision to let him go and know he would be pain free. I will miss this fine gentle dog who always showed his happiness after being groomed."

For Dusty WIlkinson

A memorial donation has been made to WAG in memory of Dusty Wilkinson, much loved pet of David and Lynn Wilkinson, by Brenda at Sirius Mobile Grooming. Here's what Brenda had to say about her furry friend:

"Dusty's parents lost him much too soon due to a brain tumor. We will miss Dusty singing to us and telling us his thoughts. He was quite the talker. He'll always be in our thoughts!"

In memory of Todo Sanders

Todo Sanders was a sweet girl, full of life and always true to herself. Cancer took her much too soon and she will be greatly missed by her mom Nina and friends. Todo is remembered through a donation from her favorite groomer, Brenda at Sirius Grooming. Here's what Brenda had to say about sweet Todo:

Todo passed away on Friday, March 27. She had developed cancer and it took her quickly. I've known Todo for 8 years and I will miss her sweet self. She wasn't the easiest to groom, but she was honest. :-) "

Remembering Penny

A donation has been made to WAG by the Dean family in honor of Penny, a rescued kitty.

Penny was a cool character - so much that nothing rattled her - other cats hissing in her face, dogs charging at her, her frequent falls off the second floor balcony ledge, or anything else that smacked of imminent danger. Everything just rolled off her back. The coolest cat ever.

Penny was rescued from the shelter and tested positive for Feline Leukemia. We knew her lifespan would be shortened because of that diagnosis, but were still surprised to lose her when we did. Our lives won't be the same. RIP Penny.
